Modern, clean and comfortable room.

The walking access to Tavira requires crossing a busy road with no footpath, making it quite hazardous. Additionally, the parking situation is chaotic. I found myself almost hemmed in by delivery trucks and other vehicles making it a stressful experience just to exit. I expected better organization and safety in a hotel setting, yet that was a significant inconvenience during my stay.

Delightful breakfast in a cozy setting

The hotel features a lovely infinity pool surrounded by sunbeds, providing a perfect space to relax after exploring Tavira. The staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating, ensuring I felt right at home from check-in to check-out.

However, the hotel's location on the busy N125 road poses a challenge when walking to the town center, as crossing requires caution with no pedestrian crossings nearby.

I was there for a short stay to explore Tavira and its sights. What I enjoyed most was the lovely breakfast spread, especially the homemade cakes, and the infinity pool area that was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. It’s a safe place to store bicycles and a nice, clean room made my stay comfortable. The walking access to the town does require some caution, especially crossing the busy road, but the charms of Tavira made it worthwhile.

i had a great stay at don rodrigues. it’s a friendly hotel close to the roundabout, making it easy to get around. the breakfast offered both hot and cold options, which were tasty. i also loved the on-site à la carte restaurant overlooking the refreshing pool. the terrace in our room added a nice touch, too.
